How information is used
Information is used to review requests, communicate with you, prepare and manage work, protect the website, maintain business records, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not sell estimate-request or subcontractor-applicant information.
Storage and access
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards restrict operational records to authorized staff. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Subcontractor applications
Trade applications collect business contact details, service areas, capacity, self-reported readiness, references, recruiting-source labels, and optional private work examples. We use these to evaluate trade relationships, verify business information, and communicate about onboarding. Sensitive documents are requested only after staff screening and stored in private Google Drive folders when that connection is configured. Systems stores document metadata and review history, not W-9 contents. Work examples are not automatically published. Optional browser-tab drafts expire after two hours and exclude uploaded files. Applicant information may be processed by our hosting, document-storage, and communication providers for these purposes; it is not sold. Retention and requests
